Welcome to the Hershey Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Flute page! These items are recommend by your teacher.

Cleaning Rod: Your instrument should come with this rod. If it is missing, this is an absolute must!

Silk Swab: Clean the inside of your flute without scratching the metal. This is encouraged rather than a brush. This is used in conjunction with the cleaning rod above.

Flute Stand: If the flute is being set down, this item is used to safely hold the flute to help prevent unwanted damage. This is also advantageous when practicing, so that it can remain out of its case when taking breaks.
