Each chorus of blues adds a new idea in the winds and in the rhythm section based on the previous chorus, so the chart will come together quickly. In the solo section, the background figures are based on "guide tones" (thirds and sevenths) so the band will be able to really hear the blues progression and build easy solos using just a few notes.
