Triplets, one- and two-octave scale passages, rolled chords, double thirds, simple ornamentation and playing two voices within the same hand are introduced and explored in the teaching pages. Contents include classical themes: Tchaikovsky (arr. Olson), Miniature Overture from The Nutcracker Suite, and an equal part duet arrangement of Rossini's The Barber of Seville Overture (arr. Brown), plus original solos, and an equal part duet.
