Snare Drum solo with piano/CD accompaniment This solo is based upon the famous “Morning” movement of the popular “Peer Gynt Suite,” which many consider to be one of Grieg’s finest compositions. This piece keeps the general charter of the melody and harmony while exploring new rhythmic and harmonic variations that place this composition in a more contemporary style. Rudiments include Flam, Flam Accent, Multiple Bounce Rolls, Paradiddle. Techniques: Snare off-on, On head and On rim playing.
