A playful Scherzo written in the Classic style. Purpose: Eric Baumgartner - The piece contains melodic, rhythmic and harmonic elements typical of early 19th century piano literature. My goal was to create a piece that reinforces these important elements while being entertaining and fun to play. Suggestions for Instruction: Students would benefit from some simple melodic and harmonic analysis of this piece, i.e. identify scale passages and broken chords. Key: G Major
