Description:
It is intended that the piece be performed with the marimba quartet on stage (four players on two marimbas) and the vibraphone in the audience (center or back of hall preferred). The piece will therefore allow the audience to experience the interaction between the cell-based groove on stage with the lyrical-ish melody in the audience---and will sound different depending on where they sit in the hall. Very effective!
